The Second International Hackathon was Successfully Concluded
On August 11, the Second International Hackathon was successfully concluded. The closing ceremony was held at the KMITL’s Bangkok campus. About 70 contestants from 8 countries including China, Thailand, Germany, France, Bhutan, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Brazil participated in the competition online and offline. Within two weeks, the contestants had competed on the theme of "My Future City" in the four tracks of Medical Treatment, Environment, Transportation, and Tourism.
The participants from 12 groups presented their own projects to show their innovative ideas and answer the questions raised by the judges. Students from Pujiang Institute have participated in and won the case named “The Last Mile”, “Maxcity”, “Tourism”, and the Award of Best Overall with their group members.
After the final presentation, KMITL held a cultural night for all participants. The students exchanged their own cultures and enjoyed delicious Thai food together. At the same time, they played traditional games and watched traditional Thai costumes, songs, and dance performances.
After the Hackathon, the participants of our Pujiang Institute expressed that they not only improved their academic level, competition ability, English communication, and communication ability, but also experienced cross-cultural and cross-national communication and cooperation, and experienced the charm of international activities in this activity, and gained a lot.
The International Affairs Department will further deepen the cooperation and exchange with international universities in order to bring more international exchange activities and overseas education channels for our students, create an international platform for students, and further expand their international vision.
