General Representative of DAAD in China Visited our University

On November 25, 2018, the general representative of Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) in China, Ms. Hannelore Bossmann visited Jiangning and Lishui campus of Nanjing Tech University Pujiang Institute, accompanied by Vice President Dr. Jochen Amrehn and Deputy Minister of International Affairs Department Robin Liu. In Jiangning campus, the Porsche Training Base of our university made a deep impression on Ms. Bossmann. After that, Ms. Bossmann and Vice President Dr. Jochen started negotiations on the cooperation between DAAD and our university.
Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst or DAAD is a federally funded and state-funded, self-governing national agency of the cultural industry and the institutions of higher education in Germany, representing 231 German higher education institutions and 128 organizations of college-students. The DAAD was established in 1925 and now is one of the largest educational exchange organization, which has 14 regional branch offices worldwide to provide information and advice on study and research opportunities, and the BeiJing Branch office was established in 1994.
From June 22 to July 4,2019, PuJiang Institute will send students for a software engineering studying tour in Germany, which is funded and supported by DAAD. At present, the selection of students from our university has been completed. The international affairs department will organize students to strengthen their oral English so that the students can present the spirit of Pujiang Institute during their trip in Germany.
